FORD RECONNAISSANCE BY ENGINEERING RECONNAISSANCE PATROL (SECTION, СREW)

The ford should be 8 m wide, 30 m long and 1 m deep. The column stops 10 m from the ford, the place of stop is marked by the anti-tank hedgehog. After the armored personnel carrier (APS) stops, the squad dismounts and removes the anti-tank (AT) hedgehog. Four AT mines are detected in the ford. The team should mark the ford with markers, prepared by the organizers of the competition in advance.

After the destruction of the mines, the squad leader commands to put
together engineer munition, to place ford markers to mount the APC and he reports to the command post using communication means that the task has been performed.
PENALTIES
− For not marking a ford the prepared marks (for one).
− For not returning for the BTR after destroying the detected mines.
− For a bypass or a detour of the obstacle.
− For not defusing the mine studded ford.

ANTI-PERSONNEL MINES CLEARANCE BY ETCHING METHOD AND MINEFIELDS DETECTION

A sector of remotely deliverable anti-personnel minefield (RDM) is laid
(the width of the minefield is 30m and the depth is 30m) using helicopter mining system. The boundaries of the minefield sector are marked. Two POM-2 anti-tank mines and four PMN-2 anti-personnel mines are laid in the sector of RDM. Having approached to the minefield borders, two engineers throw cats with ropes along an axis of the planned pass and treat a site of a minefield (15m depth on the right, 12m depth on the left). Then all 4 engineers with mine detectors move with an interval of 1,5m and make a pass (6 m width and 30m depth).

Detachment commander moves behind the engineers inspecting the
quality of mine clearance and direcring the actions of the unit. The detected anti-personnel mines are simultaneously destroyed by the order of the squad leader after finishing the reconnaissance using ZTP-50 and training TMT block. The personnel must be behind the armored personnel carrier when ZTP-50 is fired.

PENALTIES
− For not marking the detected mine.
− For not marking the pass in a
remotely laid minefield with the
prepared marks and indexes (an
unstated one mark or an index).
− For not returning for the BTR after destroying the detected mines.
− For not detecting one mine.
− A bypass or a detour of the obstacle.

ANTI-PERSONNEL MINES CLEARANCE BY ETCHING
METHOD AND MINEFIELDS DETECTION

The anti-tank ditch 6m wide, 40m long and 1.6m deep is dug. After negotiating the remotely deliverable minefield the APC moves to the right and stops. The counterobstacle vehicle must be behind the APC. The first truck of the HMB (TMM) travels to the place of the organization of the bridge crossing and emplaces the bridge construction by the order of the movement support detachment commander. Having assembled the bridge
span, the first HMB truck occupies the place behind the APC. The second, third and fourth HMB trucks emplace bridge spans and form a column. Having emplaced the bridge, the HMB crew puts boundary markers and road signs (the load bearing capacity of the bridge and speed) in the places prepared in advance.

PENALTIES

− The car has not got to an axis of the bridge from the first time.
− The car is not put on a manual brake while installing the bridge span.
− Traffic signs are not established.
− Road spikes are not exposed.
− Bridge terminators are not
exposed (one terminator).
− A bypass or a detour of the obstacle.

REMOVING OF ANTI-TANK HEDGEHOGS AND INSTALLATION
OF AN OVERFLOW PIPE BY BAT TRACK LAYER

Three anti-tank hedgehogs are installed (to carry out the mission using crane equipment of the BAT track layer); the ditch is dug (to carry out the mission using crane and bulldozer equipment of the BAT track layer). The competitors should get hold of three anti-tank hedgehogs and install them with the help of crane equipment on the site prepared in advance; move the
track layer to the obstacle; remove overflow pipe prepared in advance to the organized obstacle; put the crane equipment to the travelling position; fill in the obstacle and make a pass; mark the passage by the signs prepared in advance. Posting boundary markers and road signs is a signal to the movement support detachment commander about the completion of the
bridge emplacement.

PENALTIES

− Traffic signs are not established.
− For fall of antitank hedgehog while moving it.
− For placement of antitank hedgehog beyond the
mentionned dimensions of the area.
− For fall of sag pipe in the ditch.

PASSAGE MAKING BY COMBAT ENGINEER VEHICLE (IMR)

A log barrier is installed (to carry out the mission using the telescopic arms of the IMR counterobstacle vehicle). The places of log barriers are marked. Anti-tank ditch 2m wide and 2.5m deep is dug. The barrier is made (to carry out the mission using bulldozer equipment of the IMR counetrobstacle vehicle). The places of barriers are marked. The driver occupies his place
and monitors the information of testing and measuring devices. The boundaries of the site, used to carry out the mission, are marked with boundary markers. The hatches of the vehicles are closed.

The competitors remove wooden poles one by one using crane boom to the right road shoulder onto a special site having standard dimensions, prepared in advance. Then they should put the poles on each other (distance between markers of the site 40 cm).

The competitors using crane booms remove ferro-concrete pipes to the left road shoulder and put them into the borehole, prepared in advance and finally set the crane booms into the travelling position and fix them.

Then the crew moves to the place of organization of the pass over the antitank ditch, prepares the bulldozer equipment and carries out the mission.

After negotiating anti-tank ditch, the crew of the IMR counterobstacle vehicle makes the lane in the tree barrier (burning) at maximum speed by the order of the movement support detachment commander. Engineer reconnaissance patrol on the APC simultaneously follows the counterobstacle vehicle along the lane and forms a column at the final line.

PENALTIES
− For fall of woodconcrete pipe.
− For fall of a ferroconcrete pipe.
− For not fixed woodconcrete pipe in the terminators.
− For not fixed ferroconcrete pipe in prepared bore pit.
− A bypass or a detour of the obstacle.
RESULTS
The winners and the prize-winners are determined by the decision of the panel of judges by the best time results that the teams have shown during the relay race, with drawing up a rating list and record of the results of the competition.

The award of the winners and prize-winners by cups and medals is held in solemn atmosphere, during the award ceremony, after all the rounds are completed and after the judge confirm the final record of the rounds.
